The current website has no student account, payment checkout or enquiry database. Form details are prepared in your browser and passed to WhatsApp or your email app when you choose that channel. Hosting and communication providers may process information separately.

1. Who this policy covers
This policy describes the current India Career Counseling website and the information you choose to share when making an enquiry through its contact options. ICC is the point of contact for questions about its website and conversations with its team. You can reach us at indiacareerc@gmail.com or +91 9079789884.
It distinguishes the website’s behaviour from external services such as WhatsApp, email and maps. If a student portal, online payment system, analytics tool or new enquiry backend is introduced, this policy will need to be updated to explain the new processing before that feature is used.
2. Information you choose to enter
The enquiry form asks for your name, phone number and the topic you want to discuss. Email and a free-text message are optional. You may also choose to share your current class, interests or study plans in that message. These details help the team understand and respond to your request.
Please keep an initial enquiry limited to what is needed for the conversation. Do not put Aadhaar or passport numbers, bank details, passwords, medical records, marksheets or other sensitive documents in the free-text box. If documents are later needed for a separately agreed service, ask the team to explain why and how to share them appropriately.
3. What happens when you use the form
Typing in the form does not send those fields to an ICC enquiry server. The current site holds them in the open page and does not save them to its own database, cookies or browser local storage. Your browser may independently offer autofill, page restoration or other features according to your browser settings.
Choosing “Continue on WhatsApp” creates a WhatsApp link containing the message text. Opening that link passes its contents to WhatsApp; you still need to send the message there for ICC to receive it. Choosing email passes the prepared subject and message to your configured email application. Cancelling the message does not necessarily erase information already handled by the external provider or your device.
Prepared links or drafts may remain in browser history, application drafts or device records. Once you send a message, ICC receives it through the selected communication service, where the conversation can be stored. The website’s lack of an enquiry database does not mean that sent messages leave no record.
4. Browsing, cookies and technical information
The current frontend does not include advertising pixels, analytics trackers, embedded maps, third-party font requests or a cookie-based login. Fonts and website images are served as site assets. The course shortlist is held in the current page session; search and filter choices may appear in the page URL and browser history. Do not put private information into search fields or share URLs containing information you do not wish to disclose.
A hosting or security provider may process technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser details, referrer and error records to deliver and protect the website. Those operational records are separate from the enquiry form. Their settings and retention depend on the deployed hosting service.
5. How enquiry information is used
Information you send to ICC is used to respond to your questions, understand the guidance you need, coordinate a discussion and follow up on the enquiry or an agreed service. Your enquiry consent is not a blanket agreement to unrelated promotional messaging. You can ask the team to stop optional follow-ups.
Before asking ICC to contact an institution or another organisation on your behalf, agree what information is needed and who will receive it. Sending an initial enquiry is not permission to distribute your details to every institution listed on this website.
6. External services and information sharing
WhatsApp, your email provider and your phone service process communications under their own terms and privacy notices. Map links and official-resource links open external sites only when you follow them. Those providers may operate systems outside your country and may process device or usage information in addition to the message you choose to send.
Information may need to be available to the ICC people handling your enquiry and to the communication or hosting services used to operate the interaction. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by applicable law or to address a genuine security or legal concern. Do not assume an external link means ICC controls that provider’s processing.
7. Records, security and your requests
The frontend has no server-side enquiry record to delete. Messages you send, related follow-up correspondence and operational logs are separate records. Their retention depends on the purpose of the conversation, any ongoing service, applicable recordkeeping obligations and the provider involved; this policy does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period that those systems cannot enforce.
You can email indiacareerc@gmail.com to ask about information held in an ICC conversation, request a correction or deletion, withdraw permission for optional follow-up, or raise a privacy concern. Identify the contact number or email used for the enquiry and describe your request. We may need enough information to confirm that the request is yours without collecting unnecessary identity documents.
Requests are handled subject to applicable law and any records that must be retained. Deleting a record held by ICC may not remove your own device history or independently held provider records; use the relevant provider’s controls for those. No website or communication channel can guarantee absolute security, so avoid sending more information than the conversation requires.
8. Students under 18
Because ICC works with students and families, younger visitors may read the public course information. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or lawful guardian to make or participate in the enquiry. Do not independently send identity documents or detailed personal records.
The current website has no age-verification or parental-consent verification system. If you are a parent or guardian concerned about information a child has sent, contact ICC using the privacy email above so the conversation and any appropriate next steps can be reviewed.
9. Event photographs and image concerns
The event gallery uses photographs supplied by ICC showing education events and conversations. Captions describe the scene without naming individual participants. The illustrative student-life hero is separate from those real event photographs and is not a testimonial.
If you appear in an event photograph and have a concern about its use, email indiacareerc@gmail.com with the page address and a description of the image. Tell us whether you are requesting correction or removal. A parent or lawful guardian may contact us for a child. Please do not send a full identity document with the initial request.
10. Contact and policy updates
For a privacy question or complaint, use the subject “Privacy request — ICC” and write to indiacareerc@gmail.com. You can also call +91 9079789884 or contact the team through the office details on the Contact page. This is ICC’s website privacy contact, not a claim that a statutory data protection officer has been appointed.
The date below identifies this version. Material changes to how the website handles information should be reflected here, together with any notice or consent required by applicable law. This policy does not remove rights or complaint routes available to you under applicable law.
